The international airport of Athens' is in only 25 minutes drive. Lavrion with its harbor is just 7km from the villa.Syntagma Square -the center of Athens- is 50km. All the nearby area is famous for its beautiful seasides, for the well known archeological sites and monasteries, for its modern music halls and bars, for the traditional tavernas and restaurants while includes cosmopolitan suburbs (Glyfada, Voula, Vouliagmeni), small towns known for their best quality local products and traditional tavernas (Vari, Kalyvia, Spata, Koropi, Markopoulo), as well as summer holiday resorts with many bars and coffee shops, fish taverns by the sea and high class restaurants (Lagonissi, Saronida, Phokaia, Anavissos, Porto Rafti, Artemida, Rafina). POINTS OF INTEREST– SOUNIO: The famous cape with the ancient temple of “Poseidon” (5th century B.C.). SOUNION NATIONAL PARK: An area of 35.000 sremas with very interesting flora and fauna as well as over 1.500 wells -dated buck to the Prehestoric period- with silver mine excavations. SILVER MINE EXCAVATIONS: Silver's story began here 3.000 years ago. MUSEUMS: 1- Archaiological (a) in Lavrion and (b) in Vravrona where are and the settlemens if Artemida's anchient temple, and 2- Semi Precious Stones and Minerals in Agios Konstantinos village. ANCIENT THEATER: Thorikon, close to Lavrion. MONASTERIES: There are many and not far away (St. Efraim, St.Nektarios, Pantanassa etc). ACTIVITIES – You can enjoy sea and swim in beautiful crystal water seasides, in organised beaches or in places where you can be only you and your company. You can have facilities for sea water sports, water ski, baloon, parachute, fishing, diving, jocking, walk, light climbing, horse riding, tennis, football etc. Also there are available boat tours to close islands (Zea, Kythnos. Tenos etc). You can -also- enjoy night life … in the style you prefer (bouzoukia, traditional, local, modern etc). Very close to the Villa you can have endless gourmet and gastronomy experiences in cuntless fishtaverns, traditional tavernas, modern restaurants … whatever you like or dreamed for. ESTATE & VILLA – The Villa is stone builded -in five levels- with traditional medieval Greek architecture, in the heart of 20.000 square meters private estate -which is planted with olive and orange trees as well as other fruit-bearing trees and flowers. The Villa has a total surface of 600 sq.m. and includes: One huge master bedroom, with its own bathroom and hydro-massage, three wardrobes, a balcony and a spacious veranda, only ten steps from the swimming-pool. In front of the master bedroom (in the same level) there is the office room and the library. In the upper level you can find two other spacious bedrooms, with two wardrobes each one. Each one has its own large bathroom and covered veranda, overlooking the eastern horizon. At the left side of the main door of the villa there is a room named “Ondas” with a fireplace and panoramic view to all around mountains. In the right side of the main door of the villa there are the entrance hall and the main dining room with the bar and a huge kitchen, outside of which there is a large veranda (open air dining-room), just five steps from the swimming-pool. The living-room with another fireplace and another dining-room, is in the lower level and have an exit to a covered veranda and is very close to the swimming-pool. In the lower level, there are the visitors WC and the “servant room” with its own bath and kitchen. EQUIPMENT – All the standard hotel accomodation equipment, are offered :TV and DVD player (in the “Ondas” and in the main dining room) - Soaps and shampoo – Towels (two sizes for two persons – two sets) – Sheets, pillows, blankets – Hair dryers – and in the Kitchen all the necessary -for ten persons- as well as filter coffee macnine, mixer, tost machine, waret boiler, refrigerator, laundry, stove and oven. AROUND THE GARDEN – The swimming-pool is 06 X 12 meters and has a three meters maximum depth. Close to the swimming-pool there is a “Kiosk” overlooking to the sea with panoramic view to idyllic sunsets and 15 steps to the left there is “the Tavern” with barbeque facilities and a traditional furnace. There is also a garage, covered parking place and plenty park places (also for a small boat). Close to the villa -50 meters to the east- there is a lovely church (inside the estate), eight meters high, for 20-30 persons. BIOLOGICAL GARDEN – While in the villa you can have biological tomatoes and other cabbages as well as aromatic plants, for your splendid salats, to enjoy the best. SERVICES – (Optional and with an Extra Cost)) English speaking woman to cook and take care of the housekeeping. Arrival welcome and reception from the air port or other arrival point.
